As Splinter said, death comes for us all, but unlike Oroku Saki, Tomas Cap Quin is remembered with honor by an entire community. May we all live so well.

I started with Sensei, a blend in honor of Master Splinter. A delightfully toasty, roasty tea with a bit of jasmine keeping it from being too savory. It works strangely well.

While the TMNT teas are not currently being sold, there's always surprising tastes in fandom to be found at Friday Tea.

He kept putting it off, because there was always someone else to save. That was Cap—a man who supported an entire community. But suddenly we ran out of time for tea. I don't have anyone else to join me in bad movie quips over a pizza party cuppa, so I decided we'd have our tea together anyway.

Last week I lost a friend of mine; it was very sudden and unexpected. I had invited him to share this TMNT themed tea pack from @fridaytea.com , since we both had a soft spot for the lean, mean, pizza eating machine fandom.

Ooo, that sounds lovely! Not something that's easy to get in the states because it takes too long to ship it and it would spoil. I have a young tea plant diligently growing, but it will be a LONG time before I learn to process the leaves well. Probably won't even attempt a pick until next spring.

Frog drank the tea, and then he said, “Tell me a story while I am resting.”

Since I am new to yellows, clearly I needed cat supervision.

Believe it or not, this is my first time trying yellow tea. I am in love. All the toastiness of hojicha, the sweetness of a fresh spring green, and something unique of its own.

Wishing you a lovely spring! I'm celebrating with a delicious sakura tea from PARU. First found this special edition Cherry Blossom Festival tea last year. Tasty combo of actual salted sakura blossoms & sencha tea. A few rose petals round out the flavor, and I suspect also keep the price reasonable.

Went thrifting with my partner in crime at The Hearth, Purposeful Intentions, and came back with some fun stuff like this Japanese teapot set. I adore the sets with the wicker handles.

A pottery cup with elongated wavy shapes etched all around the surface, in shades of green and brown, resembling strands of kelp swaying in the ocean waters. It rests on a tan and green woven mat. In the blurred background is a green succulent in a square planter and branches of pink plum blossoms.

I made a cup! Love this surface design, will be playing with it again. I call it “kelp forest”.

First spring day having my morning tea outside. Enjoying tucking into Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet. The ZASP online course from Plum Village has just started and I've already gotten some useful insights. What does your tea look like today?

Understanding is love's other name. — Thich Nhat Hanh

Through Black History Month, Lunar New Year, Valentines Day, Mardi Gras, and more, February was such a small month to contain all the things that happen in it. As we near the end of this month, I hope you made time for love.

It's an excellent tea as long as you like bourbon! On its own or in this recipe.
