I just played the first level of the original Tomb Raider and I'd like to apologize to Mario 64 for every nasty thing I ever said about its camera.

The book CUT SIDE DOWN displayed on a shelf beside the author’s copies of works by Renee Gladman, H.D., and others.
The poem “A Role in the Executive.”
Yesterday (April 8) was the one-year anniversary of CUT SIDE DOWN, my second book of poetry, being officially released into the world by Invisible. If you are looking for poems with heart, humour, and (hopefully) intelligence, please request my book at your local library or bookstore.

A spread of copies of Growing my Way Home by Jenn Ashton. On the cover: the top third and bottom fifth are solid light tan panel. The top, in a serif font, bears the title "Growing" in Green and on the next line in burgundy "My Way Home". The subtitle is "Stories of "Resilience and Care" Then middle is a lovely painting with collage-esque effects of a greenhouse, trees to the left, pinecone, legs, flowers, and a house. The bottom reads "Jenn Ashton"
The new work of autofiction Growing My Way Home by award-winning Sḵwx̱wú7mesh author @raveonstudio.bsky.social is here! Growing My Way Home traces Ashton’s experiences as a thirteen-year-old drug dealer, a fifteen-year-old parent, and finally an author and artist.

The first thing I thought of when the longlist came out was this post. I would've put money on you being right about Solie being on there 😅
Book cover for Ace Theory: An Essay in Fragments About Asexuality by Ryan Fitzpatrick. The cover is minimalist. The title and author name are in the background, muted, and the subtitle runs in a vertical column lightly overlapping the title.
I’m not much of a poster these days, but I’d be remiss to not share the cover for my fall nonfiction book Ace Theory:An Essay in Fragments About Asexuality, which has snuck it’s way onto the internet this week.
A spread of copies of SUBTEXT by Nicole Raziya Fong. The cover reads SUBTEXT in all caps in a black, serif font across the top. Blue-grey watercolour brush strokes/marker strokes descend diagonally, taking up most of the cover. Behind this is white. In the bottom in black serif font. The left side is grey and looks stitched.
The new work of poetry by Nicole Raziya Fong is here! SUBTEXT collages the echoes of diasporic and colonial histories through poetry, drama, autobiography, and archival uncovering. SUBTEXT asks readers to negotiate the unsteady shoals of identity and history.

Most of Hindmarch's work is available in this book, published a few years ago. Her novel The Watery Part of the World is an especially great feminist work novel.
