I've gotten way, way more value out of what Hank and John produce compared to what I've paid them. Fifty bucks for some of John's books? Some 30 second ads on their videos? That's nothing compared to what I've gotten from them
When you have an audience or a business you have to ensure that you always provide a lot more value to people than you extract from them. If you don't then, long term, it all breaks down.
