Re: 'H.R. 8250' "Parents Decide Act". This bill wants to force age verification on the operating system level.
If you see one of your reps listed below, CALL THEM so we can kill this in committee

Typography poster which reads: Create more. Complain less. Accept critique & study, study, study! Observe everything. Research your heart out. Find like minds. Use your imagination. But whatever you do: don't quit.
I made this almost 14 years ago at a low point in the early part of my serious art journey. It still rings true. I had just taken up the study of art fundamentals and had fallen into comparison with people who were further along on their own journeys. I made this to talk myself through it.

The most bad-ass rebuttal from Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach.

Thea standing under the light of the corpse star, holding a glowing green sword. Her reflection shows a different story, where she holds the corpse of her husband instead.
Commission for @oceandrea.bsky.social! Thank you so much!!
Days 5-8
(1-4/30)
I'm doing 30 days of characters time at ComicFury - a very big crop of artists this year (80!) and all managed by @spelledeg.bsky.social! There's lore, but alas there's no space here for that.

It's 30 days of characters time over on ComicFury. So I'll keep a thread here for the sake of it. Days 1-4

Strengthen your body: arm and hand stretches, weightlifting, resistance workouts, regular breaks, walks, swimming, whatever gets you moving. All of the technical advice in the world is no use if youβre in too much pain to draw.
Average drawing experience.

A 1980s color photo style drawn illustration of a tall, lithe gray elf looking alien man lighting a cigarette while leaning on a stone wall in a metropolitan park behind him is a giant bronze tortoise statue in the raised garden bed. The grey man is named Maks. Next to him and sitting on the lower bench is a black man with long box braids in a ponytail. He's wearing an orange and yellow boxy polo and acid wash jeans. The black man's name is Woods. Next to the black man is a shorter purple alien with orange hair in a curly mohawk style, he's wearing a white short sleeve baggy crop top with a long sleeve shirt beneath. He's also wearing acid wash jeans. His name is Sheep. In the foreground there is some cover of foliage.
Working on some updated cast page stuff for my webcomic. So here's Maks and friends.

You find yourself both everywhere and nowhere. Shunted into the beyond where you swear you could even see the sinewy veins of Azathoth's eyes. Far away from anything you've ever known or hoped to know.
Exciting bit from game on Saturday. I'm not screaming , you are #callofcthulhu #ttrpg
A comic page depicting a young boy dressed in thick rags facing away from the viewer. In the top panel he shifts about, and in the panel beneath it he reveals a carving knife. In the bottom panel, an establishing shot of the woods blanketed in deep snow. Tobey is walking into the darkness.

Illustration of a large snake in a red swamp. A small character stands in the water below the snake. The snake has a large multicolored eye.

The Gentleman from Hell cast(excluding Loctrum, Lenore and Mark). It's one of my favorite audio dramas put together by @maeltopia.bsky.social I'm unsure if there are official visualizations for these guys but at least in my mind this is what they look like. :)
Comics are a medium, not a genre. And they have as much literary merit as any book, as well as the artistic merit of any painting.
an illustration of my character, Colin Faust, as a conductor. He has a determined look in his bright yellow eyes, fearlessly treading through flames at his feet, a muted lavender lighting him up from behind.

The whole point of defending the right for uncomfortable, or even reprehensible fiction to have the right to exist isnt that its all cool and nothing is ever wrong with it
Its that government/corpo organizations will NEVER look at things with the """nuance""" you think is so self evident
