I don't understand China's obsession w/ "reuniting" w/ Taiwan. It's as absurd as Great Britain insisting that the US needs to "reunite" because some English folk set up camp there once & stayed. The indigenous people originally occupied Taiwan, then the Dutch, Spaniards & Japanese came later.

Oo that's a good idea! I do that already randomly but never thought to check the photos for a theme.

That's what I do!! I soak in every and anything visually and let things simmer for a while in my brain before seeing what comes out on paper. I also start a Pinterest board. I pin things without thinking too much about it and a color scheme always emerges that my subconscious has already chosen.
