It makes sense, I never got to work in professional design yet, I only got to design monsters and creatures for friends, and they give the free hand, so I was a little curious

I sometimes get that feeling too, though I rarely got creature design jobs(I wish).
I think unsettling vibe is really good it gives uniqueness but I imagine pleasing the client is more important unless they are receptive? (Sorry I don't know fully how the field works in the professional sense,,)
