I didn't get a mobile phone til I was 34. Tbf , this had nothing to do with my parents , just the fact that it was 1999.

I think they do play Ice Hockey locally to me (Hackney) but I've never been or seen a game on the telly. It doesn't feel very British tbh.
I loved it , made me want to go back on the smokes though 🤣
He's an idiot , a cosplaying Vicar idiot , managed to get fired by GBnews ffs.
We've been spending the week in Walberswick, Suffolk. Every morning I've gone for a walk around the beach , harbour, marshes & heathlands. And every morning I've seen the hardy group of Swimmers who swim in the sea every day . Sometimes they will be greeted by beautiful sunrises. Other days no so.
You feed me this on death row and I'll throw the switch myself x
Doesn't appear to be any chips . #sadface
He sure has the golden touch ! Oh that's the gold bullion grift.
I prefer my bananas slightly green.
We always have a holiday in January , this year, it is Walberswick in Suffolk for a week, makes January something to look forward to.
I've seen them in churches recently , full of "beautiful roof" comments. Alan & Shirley , Dorchester.
Happened to me at Bath Spa one Sunday afternoon, I was going to go for the weekend first upgrade. The indicators were wrong, the train was packed , couldn't make it through the train to 1st class, stood all the way to Paddington. #atmyage #firstworldproblems
OK, I'd forgotten that , clamouring for public sector hotels is not a hill I'd die on tbf.
Yup , I could move , I last moved in 97, (moved about a mile) I don't make a habit of it .
Hotels?
It didn't even make sense at the time , the other utility Privitisations were meant to usher in competition which would bring down bills. That didn't work but there was competition. I've never had the chance to switch water providers.
Sadly I can only enjoy #duvetknowitschristmas from the luxury of my own home as I haven't been to my parent's place for Christmas since 1992. It isn't a sad story, my mum is still about , I just see them a few days earlier (got a bed & en-suite bathroom) . I just spend Christmas with Gill .
Drove down to Bath this morning , seeing family. Stopped off at #SilburyHill which is one of my favourite places, always try & stop there on a drive down. It isn't always surrounded by water.
Been to a few in London , find them strange , the beer is meh...and they lack atmosphere.
Housing Benefit is being phased out , it's now a legacy benefit. Existing claims continue , if no breaks the claim can transfer to another address. New claims for assistance with rent are now dealt with by the DWP, the rent element of UC.
I'm 60 next year , still at stage 1 , can't see me moving on.
“…the complaints coming from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age”
We’re probably three weeks from Gregg Wallace either getting a column in The Sun or running in a by-election as a Reform candidate. Or both.
In the summer , I ordered an ice coffee & they brought the ice up from the basement, when the person bringing the ice came through the door, I announced "The Iceman cometh " , to silence from the restaurant. I don't think I'll ever recover.

Do we know if #duvetknowitschristmas is going to migrate over here? Because it’s about the only thing I like about Christmas.
I love it , even though I haven't gone "home" for Christmas since 1992 .
My father-in-law was in the Royal Canadian Air Force , flew about 60 missions, he could have gone back to Canada after about 30 but signed on again. Impressive service . He told me once that he hitched a lift on one of the Dambuster planes , after the raid.
