Been awhile since I posted (bar 5 minutes ago) I don't post massively insightful stuff, tbh, I post very little work stuff because I'm too paranoid I'll dox myself and say something I shouldn't, so, yeah, you get sport and games nonsense instead :)
What a week, had the privilege to bring my daughter into the world on the 13/03 and then 3 days later, @newcastleunited.com win their first cup in decades. 30 Years I had to wait, 3 days for her. My proper lucky charm this one! :D
Not my day, not my week. Woke up at 5am because #manflu thought I'd play some Horizon Zero Dawn (Yes I'm behind the times), CTD x 3 over an hour. Resetting my progress every time.
I just want to game and be miserable, now I'm just miserable. 🙄
It happened, almost like clockwork. My #SecretLab TitanXL Chair Tilt Mechanism failed, Again, for the 3rd time. Every 18 months almost on cue its broken since I got it in September 2020.
Nevermind the fact pretty much every single part has been replaced under warranty at least once. Never again.

People went into it expecting Open world Freedom of a Fallout or Skyrim type game, you don't get that. It's largely on rails, you get punished if you wander too far the wrong way, and I encountered many game breaking bugs I only made it to 6 hours.
£25-£30 game imo.
Well, I just gave up on #Avowed I tried a peaceful resolution, it triggered a fight, but I couldn't hit anything because it wasn't meant to end. In a fight. I was 6 hours in.
Mediocre, average, uninspired.
It'll have it's audience, no doubt. But it aint me.
Watched the Carbon\Quasar presentation from @eveonline.com earlier, some seariously significant changes potentially coming which is awesome!
One I want to see, now that chat is independent of the monolithic code base. Can we sync up discord channels (or IRC if you're old school) with ingame chat?
Jesus wept this blog post is so tone deaf to the community, and on the heels of a recent dev video where they back slapped on how healthy the game is. Nah, CCP be better than this.

I was excited to see that Far Cry New Dawn was added to Xbox Game Pass for PC, I was less excited when it tried install the @ubisoft.com Launcher.
Guess I won't play it then.
I'm terrible at $%^posting on social media, not that I've been upto too much, completed The Outer Worlds, got stuck into Eve Online some more (Changed Corps) and Dabbled in Satisfactory. Sat watching NUFC all while juggling work, pregnant wife and bidding on houses!

Worth noting when I ordered it, it did state it would not be available for sometime, so I didn't mind the wait. But Original estimate was Jun/Jul 2024. Would have been nice to get it for my Bday (Sept) or even Xmas this year, but looks like I'll have to wait until 2025 now 🤡🤡🤡
