World of Warcraft is a straight line, signifying a steeper entry for learning, but steadily and reliably rising to the right. EVE Online, however, starts out far above the other three in a seemingly exponential curve, which is really a drawing of a cliff's overhang with crucified stick figures littering the plateau, stick figures hanged and dangling from the overhang, some even falling to their deaths on the start of the curve below, and further along the plateau, a bulldozer pushing piles of stick figure corpses off the line.
EVE Online rolling in a chatbot feels wrong in a fundamental way that looks superficially like gatekeeping, but really cuts into why Silicon Valley tech in education has been a complete disaster.
