Akira soundtrack cover. U.S. release, 1991.
I remember seeing Akira at the local (stage) theatre in early 1991. The playhouse handed out a double-sided sheet of A4 paper to explain what Anime was.
The soundtrack is immense. Still have the US release on CD.

@blpublishing.bsky.social My wife and I were discussing the other day – will there be another 'Tales of the Weird Autumnal Festival' this year (2026)?
We would love to attend.
Well deserved.
I inspected this edition in your shop. (Well, who wouldn't when BL Members get 20% off. 🙂)
An impressive reproduction of a first edition (even down to the foxing)! A lovely thing.
On our other channel. A new episode of Poirot: Greatest Detective is out. #AgathaChristie

A busy week on our Patreon. Now (re)released, the world's first ever Actual Play, dating from 2003. A recording of BURPS: Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil.
This IS what started it all. <sorry>

I'm disappointed with the direction YouTube has gone in in recent years. I've decided to reconfigure our show's use of YT to (occasional) live and small clips.
For our full shows, see the podcast directories or Patreon.
YouTube's system *is* theirs, so I'll just say "Thank you for the bandwidth".
I've been to Winchester Cathedral and heard the story. What he did was quite incredible.

First up: a look at Ryecroft from @monkeyblood.bsky.social
The past day I've put up c.50 recordings onto Patreon. Some required a physical deep dive to retrieve the OG recordings, and have been digitally cleaned-up where possible.
Archive interviews are also in a series of thematic Collections, but again, much more to come.

We had a jolly time going through RPG starter sets both old and new! Can't believe I didn't know about the Black Box.
I recall you once did a YouTube video on this? Fascinating to see the history of the institution.
Go on. You know you want to... 😈
