The future of farming doesn’t have to destroy the planet.
Agroecology shows us a better way: working with nature instead of against it.
Crop rotation, intercropping & agroforestry deliver higher yields, healthier soil, and real climate action.
Let’s scale this up for a thriving,
It's mango season! But beware: mangoes infected with Salmonella sickened 56 people so far, and FDA REDACTED the names of importers, the country where the fruit is grown, the firms selling infected fruit, and the states affected.

This admin has: 1) taxed food & fertilizer imports 2) deported farmworkers 3) canceled food/climate investments 4) started a war that spiked energy/fertilizer prices 5) increased crop-based biofuel mandates 6) released dietary guidance centering meat
It took scofflaw Raw Farm 21 days to recall their dangerous cheese. They've had outbreaks before and refused to recall products. Some were contaminated with E. coli, Samonella, Listeria... They've made bogus health claims too.

Grants were suddenly shut down across the country stranding projects helping thousands of new farmers trying to get into the business.
The President’s proposed USDA budget takes away nearly 20% of its entire funding, slashing support for rural towns, agricultural research, and food aid produced by American farmers, all while they are already struggling in a tough farm economy.
This is unacceptable.
The food system urgently needs to move away from animal products, but supporting agricultural workers will be essential.

Fiber optic cables, of all things, have now exposed just how badly tilling messes with a farm’s ability to retain moisture. Using a technology known as ...(DAS), scientists analyzed how seismic waves disturbed the cable as they rippled through harrowed fields, compared to adjacent undisturbed plots.
