That’s going on my “if I ever have time for that”-list

Godot's GitHub has increasingly many pull requests generated by LLMs and it's a MASSIVE time waster for reviewers – especially if people don't disclose it. Changes often make no sense, descriptions are extremely verbose, users don't understand their own changes… It's a total shitshow. #godotengine
Nice! Congrats on the demo release Daniel!
Oh, not cool. I hope you’ll find other opportunities soon…
He got the fifa peace price… so much credibility for that price and FIFA!
You said! you said! you said! … (you know the rest)
I do miss the physicality of TF2 in a lot of those other “older” games. The movement was so good…
Same, after that I started Dishonored 2 again, also aged very well!
Lots of respect here Denny. I hope things turn around for the company and that those people get new amazing opportunities.
As someone who’s still using Unity most of my days, I have a lot of thoughts about the Keynote…
Where is the cool stuff for hands-on devs? Give me nice editor stuff, info about unified rendering, even rendering improvements!
Did I miss a part?
Cool game by a nice dude! Looking forward to it @tovanbo.bsky.social !
Tomorrow is Indie-Penance Day on Kotaku! If you have an indie game in development, or a recent release that's been ignored, email me: botherer@gmail.com, with the subject line "INDIE PENANCE 2025".
Please include a store link and a YT link (if possible).
Rules next...
Super uncool news, hope you’ll find an awesome job soon Autumn! Take care
Oh man, so sorry to hear this Nick. Wishing you all the best.
🙌
Perfect, it also literally translates to « shitistocracy » in Dutch…

After 19 months under wraps, finally able to talk about our upcoming game Modulus. A factory automation game like no other.
Yeah, I’m so glad we’re past that… it’s hard to transfer the same energy through webcams.
We also try to get colleagues in from abroad, every quarter, for a week. And that usually results in the whole team coming to office as well, just because it’s nice to work with them in person.
We do 2/3 days a week at the office now for people that live within reasonable distance (less than 90 minutes of travel).
Works well, we do our do-not-disturb stuff mostly at home, and the energy we get on the two days that everyone is there is great.
New amazing area coming soon as a free update for Shredders. 🤘
Yeah, it would have definitely motivated me more if I would have seen some visual results.
I’ve heard first-year game programming bachelors are now getting the visual versions though!
Hey Bluesky people, here's some footage of a selection of games I've worked on... #shredders #spacepiratetrainer #BAM #Element4l #spacepiratearena
You’re a champion Sos!
Woohoow, this is starting to feel like old twitter again, I might actually post gamedev updates and stuff here again soon. :-p
Ah, could have been the first then, I was just afraid that my mirror image would be doing something different than me. :-D
Haha, true… I was afraid of mirrors for a while! (Second one if I remember correctly?)
Hmm… maybe Bosh? Miele is also an OK brand, but I’m not as familiar with those
Not sure if they are easily available around your area, but in the EU I would definitely say Siemens for quality hardware.
