Last month, I underwent explorative laparoscopic surgery due to constant pain r/t cramping, concentrated in my back.

I always thought it was #endometriosis & I finally have confirmation of it.

Never stop advocating for yourself!

My journey was over 10yrs for diagnosis. The average is 7-10 yrs!

Brilliant idea! Next they’ll invent seatbelts and call them β€œfreedom straps.”

Hurricane season starts June 1 and if you live in a Gulf state, you need to watch this. It’s worse than you might think.

The few employees still left at FEMA admit: they are not prepared. Not enough staff. Not enough supplies. Not enough leadership. Plan accordingly.

Kilauea is at it once again, with incredible lava fountains having just resumed.

My first volcano was last year in Iceland πŸ₯Ή I was quite far but I still feel sheer exhilaration just thinking of it & it reignited a different love for life and earth from childhood πŸ’—πŸŒ‹

4 yrs ago today, I witnessed a volcanic eruption for the first time, close enough to feel the intense warmth of the Earth's creation on my skin. It literally changed my life. I may spend the rest of my life seeking an experience as powerful as this and never find it, and that's okay.

The sun is setting and the fountain is a bit less powerful, but still a fantastic show. They've recently zoomed in.

A CASE STUDY- that no one wanted to experience

If you want to know what cutting Medicaid does to rural Americaβ€”look at Mississippi.

Their Republican governor refused to expand Medicaid. Now over half their rural hospitals are at risk of shutting down and many already have.

EVERYONE: if they have no warrant, they have no right to enter your space. Don’t let them! Be brave and protect our brothers and sisters.

A vertical-format photo of a vast sandy beach. The sand in the foreground, which occupies most of the frame, has been rippled by the tide and seems to stretch into infinity. A soft evening sky above.

Nothing to see here. Just @emilyjaynef.bsky.social being forcibly removed from NY-17 Rep. Mike Lawler's town hall tonight for having the temerity to act like a citizen of the United States. Hero.

A thick, stormy disk of material surrounds this bright center, with swirling strands of dark dust and bright spots of star formation strewn through the disk. A large spiral arm extends from the disk toward the viewer. Some foreground stars are visible atop the galaxy.

An area of deep space with thousands of galaxies in various shapes and sizes on a black background. A few gold-colored galaxies are bunched closely together in the center. A large, translucent purple cloud lies over the galaxies, thickest across the center where the gold galaxies sit, and fainter up to the right. This shows where X-rays are emitted by hot gas in the group of galaxies.

A star cluster is shown inside a large nebula of many-coloured gas and dust. The material forms dark ridges and peaks of gas and dust surrounding the cluster, lit on the inner side, while layers of diffuse, translucent clouds blanket over them. Around and within the gas, a huge number of distant galaxies can be seen, some quite large, as well as a few stars nearer to us which are very large and bright.
