I love living in a country where "just go sit in a 1000 year old church!" is actually a perfectly reasonable bit of advice.

"I am not involved," Trump said in relation to Kilmar Garcia's case.

It would seem as soon as it finally sunk in that he could be impeached for violating the US Constitution's due process clause, he has suddenly decided he had nothing to do with it.

I won’t share RFK Jr.’s lies about autism.

It’s disgusting and dangerous.

If he had a shred of decency, he would apologize and resign.

Autistic people contribute every day to our nation’s greatness.

To every kid with autism, I’m in this fight all the way for you.

Unbound goes into administration as Archna Sharma and John Mitchinson launch new publisher The independent publisher Unbound has gone into administration, with Allister Manson and Charles Turner of Opus Restructuring appointed administrators of the company on 10th March 2025.

This whole saga is kind of weird, and I'm rather confused how a publisher that crowdfunded its expenses has managed to go into administration.

To be noted, Unbound weren't paying royalties by the end, and that is a big old nope.

A two-panel meme. The top half shows a scene from the movie The Mummy where soldiers are running away from the main characters. It is captioned "In a world full of 'allies'" The lower half shows three of the main male characters, two standing with rifles and one with a lit torch, looking ready for a fight. It is captioned "Be an accomplice."

there's a reason building trust and empathy is considered an essential first step in getting someone out of a cult, and not mockery and derision: the latter just drives them further into the cult because they feel like no one else will ever accept them.

Even in the incredibly unlikely case that trans rights in the US stop getting worse, judges grow a spine, whatever miracle you want to imagine—

You should still go out of your way to support trans folks because every fucking thing is harder for them. Work. Family. Housing. Walking down the street.

And if another trans author who might be struggling happens to be reading this: remember that your story matters, there are readers out there who want to read your trans book despite what some people in this industry might think, don't lose hope.❤️

If there’s one thing I want trans writers to hear is never compromise.

Don’t give those fuckers a single inch.

Your vision, your ideas, are scared. Preserve them in all their glorious strangeness.
