But Mounjaro is the same as Zep, like Ozempic and Wegovy. One for diabetes, the other for weight loss and other conditions.
Medicare won't cover Mounjaro for diabetes? That's crazy, especially since they'll cover it for sleep apnea. I'm sorry, Barb, that's ridiculous. I pay out of pocket for both my and Jonah's Zep, but I'm looking at finally having J tested for sleep apnea, and maybe they'll cover it.
I have friends who eventually switched from Ozempic to Zep when the former stopped being effective (since Zep can be taken at higher doses.) I'm pretty much at goal/maintenance now (40% down) but figure I'll be on it forever since it also put my MS and IBS into remission.
It's my 15 month zep-iversary, so these things are on my mind.
Things I will never get used to on Zepbound:
Getting buzzed on two sips of wine.
Putting a fraction of the food I used to put on my plate and still eating only a fraction of it.
Tossing leftovers rather than putting them away to eat later.

I have an almost 2-year old guy (Calvin) who is like that: Jumps into my lap while I'm on the computer and demands I pet him for at least 10 minutes throughout the day. Unfortunately, he also does it at night while I'm in bed. But I do love him. The most affectionate cat I've ever had.
