Only one episode in on Season 2 of Beef and I have to say, Gen X versus Gen Z is shaping up to be a good fight.

Yeah. Was holding off for years with that movie, but I felt prepared today to tackle it. Oh wow. It lived up to its reputation.

Thanks, Nash! 🙌
#HorrorWritersChat There's a ton of top-notch work out there. I'll stick with the authors of short fiction collections that I've read recently: Bracken MacLeod, TC Parker, Ally Wilkes, Craig Wallwork, Mo Moshaty, Emma E Murray, Kathe Koja, Lucie McKnight Hardy
Yeah, been picking up a few recently from Last Exit to Nowhere. They do subtle movie reference t-shirts.
Thanks so much!
Although one of these choices is rather dubious (me, of course 🤪), can attest to following all others. Thanks, @craigwallwork.bsky.social
If don't know Craig as a horror author, he's got new book, INSTRUCTION MANUAL TO BEING A VAMPIRE, out 6/9/26, just in time for summer reading list!

Deserved.
Dude. I rarely get likes for anything I post up, but you are one of the few who likes my stuff. It means a lot. Thanks.
No worries. :)

Yeah. I mean, something has to really move me in some way. Visceral. Emotionally. Fear. Something that resonates. And then yes, it gets 5 stars. What was the last 5 star you gave?
I’m harsh with my rating. It takes a lot for me to offer up even a 4 star. This came close. I enjoyed it. Very French New Wave but Jarmusch through and through. Still think Paterson, Mystery Train and Down By Law are my top three. This is definitely top five.

Mostly horror with a little Jarmusch thrown in.
Me neither. It’s a movie lovers’ movie. Technically it’s outstanding too. As soon as that woman pisses on the fat guy it’s like you’re on cocaine up until the titles appear after about 20mins in. And that ending!
Chazelle is fast becoming one of my favourite directors. Babylon is just off the charts bonkers, brilliant and completely overlooked.
❤️
Blood-soaked ARCs of the new book now bat-winging their way to some very cool people. #BookSky @nwreader.bsky.social
Yeah. It’s just a great underdog story that was well acted and directed. And we all love seeing someone being told no no no, and they push on through regardless and make a fundamental change in the process.
It’s inspiring. It gives me hope.
Pitt and Hill have amazing Master/Apprentice chemistry. It’s a beautiful dance of the dorks that never gets old no matter your age, your occupation or how many times you’ve already seen it.

Fuck yeah. Great movie. And I know nothing about baseball, nor have any interest in it.
“Following the box office bomb of “Die, My Love,” which grossed only $12 million after MUBI acquired it for $24 million out of Cannes, MUBI had negative cash flow of $65 million in Q4 2025.”
Shame. Mubi is one of the best indie movie channels. Hopefully it picks up again.
I think people will be surprised that what they thought they was going to read isn’t what they actually read too.
Thanks, Yolanda!
