A cartoon witch dressed in 1620s fashion. A black cloak with a big collar is draped over her shoulders, and her long dress is red and gold and cream, with embroidered decorations in the shape of flowers and heraldic lions. There is a feather in her hat. In one hand, she holds a sextant, and in the other, a fishing net with an amber-coloured glass float.

Day 16: Vasa Tea
Years ago, the Vasa Museum did a tea-blend based on something they had found aboard the wreck after it was salvaged. I've lost the ingredient list, but it has bergamot in it.
The witch wears 1600s fashion because that's when the ship was built.
A cartoon witch with short, curly, cornflower blue hair. She wears a white peasant blouse and long white bloomers. Over that, she wears a patchwork skirt with slits in it: the inside is the pale yellow of the inside of an apple, while the outside is a mix of orange, brown, yellow and pale green tints, like the skin of an apple. She holds one apple - one red, one green - in each hand.

Day 17: Apple Cornflower
Another one from the recesses of my tea cabinet, and this one bought from a local farm. It's got a nice subtle apple flavour, but I'm not sure what the cornflower adds to the whole experience other than being pretty.
(This is because the medical lab we go to is so good at helping my kid overcome his phobia of needles that now he actually wants to go in for a blood draw.)
Ages ago, there was a Reddit thread about the creepiest thing your kid has ever said that I was convinced couldn’t be topped.
But then yesterday my kid laid down and pleaded with me “I just want to show her my blood. PLEASE. Please please please let me show her my blood.”
Choose The Days Your Shift Haunts you is a different genre of horror. Probably an urban retail worker horror.
WHEN
I like Two Little Mice's stuff and don't care about Twilight Sword, but putting a Third Party License behind a €550k stretch goal is... bold. "Get us to €550k so *you* can make content that promotes *our* system."
I was having lunch with a friend in Berlin when she said, "Every woman deserves a ho era." And I laughed and said "Honestly, a lifetime." And then she said, "An epoch."
Anyhow, that kinda made me feel a way, so I went home and wrote a 200-word rpg about it.

Day 12: The Admirer by Darling Bat Games

Every once in a while, we as queer people have to take a step back and ask ourselves: do I want to be them or be with them? So I for one feel incredibly represented by this playbook
Day 11: The Amalgam by @witchlovingwitch.bsky.social

This playbook might be a mashup of various different body parts, but let me tell you that the design and concept overall is tight and focused:
What if Frankenstein's monster..................but lesbian?
I have three types of TTRPG character:
1. Witch (and/or disembodied hands)
2. Soft and earnest. (Often cuddly.)
3. 🗑️ 🔥 💣 🫣
There are now community copies of Their Miserable, Greedy Hearts available for anyone who is low on funds. If you need to ask yourself "Is this for me?" then it is.
I will be adding more community copies for every tip of $5 or more, so if you have a bit to spare, you can pay it forward!
I’m really sorry. :(
if you like solo journaling ttrpgs, and you like sending your friends cute (or weird) things in the mail, then try my new game, Literal Play By Post.

Discord screen cap that says: “ Uh, can we like do a girls night where we get into cute pjs and make popcorn and gossip about cute ~~boys~~ NPCs and paint our ~~nails~~ mechs?”
I started playing Lancer. Am I doing it right??
Ok, that moment where you’re drawing a tarot card? Only eclipsed by the perfect terror and delight of finding out what happens next.
Who delivered the invites? 3 of swords? Your ex.
What happens when you take a mortal wound? The Empress? She claims you as Her avatar.
I can’t get enough of it
Okay yesterday was about the game itself, but did you know it also has a companion book that includes new world building prompts, Hymn guides, and 12 new Hymnals created by several other incredible designers???
It's Midnight Hymns (and has the cooler cover)

More challenging still — a lot of the intro text or taglines or promos need to have good SEO for experienced gamers (especially with acronyms for systems like BoB, PBtA, DftQ) which often mean nothing to a new gamer or a gamer exploring new stuff after years in D&D or MMOs.
Some people need emotional support animals, but what if you need emotional support cheese, like “I know this is a no food zone, but this brie is the only thing keeping me from crying today”
