As a refresher on how Tascots works:
- Tascots are saved in a singular .tascot file that can be freely shared with others (just put it in the game's custom_tascots folder)
- Same goes for custom Dialogs!
- I don't upload, store, or claim ownership of your Tascot in any capacity. Your work is yours!

With a new TascotMaker done, you need a shiny new TascotPicker to match! This new menu can parse and preview both old backer-beta Tascots as well as the shiny new 2.0 versions!
You can also ctrl-click to select multiple Tascots to spawn at a time!

i think the nastiest bug that took me forever to solve was discovering that arrays in godot are shared by reference (unless you explicitly .duplicate() them), so if multiple buttons were made to change an array they were actually all sharing the *same* array and overwriting eachother's settings
Yeah that was a bad pitfall when i learned how to do it the first time around... Lots of stack overflows because the loader triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a save which triggered a sa-

It uses Win32 and C# to invoke the chromakey effect, so most likely not...
Unfortunately Tascots is waaay too far along to migrate to 4+ now... I might try some time in the far future but for now I am sadly stuck in the prehistoric world of 3.2.1... ๐ฆ
A neat bonus to this setup is pure-black textures that are in a CanvasLayer above the shader act as a mask to anything in the layers below it!

Yes! Through the magic of Window's chromakey styling and a color shader that bumps any pure black pixels out of the chromakey's range, we can do exactly that!

Been putting in a little more work on my TwitchIRC plugin!
1.1 now (actually, correctly) parses Twitch's USERNOTICE events! (raids, charity, subs, gifts, etc)
I also made some funcs to push your own fake messages and events (either for testing or gameplay purposes)
