That’s why rural Albertan’s suffer in silence because of the insulting comments. Many of these UCP ridings either no one else was running or they Didn’t show up at town halls etc. it sounds more like a way to turn our backs on fellow Alberta’s using victim blaming

Another story on this farmer being exposed to oil and gas emissions. Tim went there to do the OGI work for us last year. He explained what he saw.

The Alberta Government/ AER is so scared of adding to the orphan problem (that they have underfunded with too low of levies) that they are not policing these little companies. These little companies are breaking us & poisoning Albertans

We collectively need to stop referring to the Alberta Energy Regulator as “seen by many as a captured agency” and just say “a captured agency.”
Same goes for police boards that have demonstrated their capture time and time again.

I don’t see many politicians or AER board members who live 24/7 by this unregulated infrastructure, yet they get to make the rules for the poor people who do.
the little companies run their wells on the cheap, the AER doesn’t enforce the rules on them because they don’t want to “create financial strain” on them and who cares if they are poisoning the landowner.

The whole world had restrictions! somehow they pick and choose who to be angry with. Even Trump had restrictions but yet no one talks about that.
lots of dead birds by venting oil wells. I see it all the time. it shocks me we don’t throw these oil companies in jail for venting straight gas As it kills people too.
I know I say this way to much but the way Alberta has copied the problems with emissions and blind loyalty to oil and gas to the detriment of people is wildly uncanny.

Sooner or later Albertans are going to have to decide if they love O&G workers or O&G corporations

There is so many better uses for taxpayer money than paying for oil and gas cleanup bill. Our health care is on the brink of collapse- some rural ER’s dont have on call doctors at times.
I know of some oil companies actively poisoning people…if they need something to do why don’t they arrest them for attempted murder.
