Tom Tryon, who plays the monster in I Married a Monster from Outer Space, stars menacingly at his human wife, played by Gloria Talbott.

Tom Tryon, who portrayed the titular monster, was much more than just a handsome lug. He fought in WWII, graduated with a fine arts degree from Yale, acted in 38 movies and TV shows, and published 27 books, including bestsellers. Not bad!

The "body snatchers from space" sub-genre delivered some of the best sci-fi/horror movies of the 1950s. This one is far better than the title suggests.
