Earlier this week, PERIOD. @ The University of Pittsburgh hosted a period packing party where they made over 100 period packs to donate to Family Links and Soujourner House — local nonprofits in Pennsylvania who will distribute these period products to community members needing the support!
With nearly 1 in 4 students struggling to afford period products, we must come together to advocate for policies that fight against period poverty and ensure products are accessible for all (2023 State of the Period Study).

This week, PERIOD. joined menstrual equity advocates in Washington, D.C. for the Clean Advocacy Summit hosted by #ISSA — The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association — to push for federal solutions to end period poverty.

Last week, @periodmovement and @girlsinc hosted Girls Have Something to Say. Period. — a joint UN CSW69 parallel event led by youth activists on their experiences advancing menstrual equity legislation and how to further mobilize the movement to end period poverty.
Last month, PERIOD. @ Seton Hall University hosted a period packing event to assemble packages that include essential menstrual products to donate to the Sierra House, a local nonprofit committed to supporting youth in need. In total, they packed and donated 32 period packs!
