It’s a wrap! Our spring 2025 #IgniteTheCapitol event series has come to an end having engaged hundreds of students in CA, OH, TX and NYC ✊
They received advocacy training and met face-to-face with lawmakers to talk about issues like education access and women’s rights.
More to come. Stay tuned!
We are so excited that our next #IgniteTheCapitol is just around the corner! 🚀
On Monday, students are meeting with lawmakers in #California to advocate for legislative action on education and reproductive rights✊ while learning how to drive change through civic and #politicalpower.
Earlier this week, our National Policy Coordinator, Sydney Ramon, spoke at #IGNITEtheCapitol in Austin, TX—where dozens of advocates came together to champion 3 menstrual equity bills in Texas!
Thank you to Rep. Donna Howard, Rep. Lulu Flores, and Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for introducing these bills.
It’s been a blast #Austin! Thank you to everyone that made this #IGNITEtheCapitol event as successful as it was.🥺
Huge shoutout to Texas Women’s Foundation, PERIOD, GEM Centers, and most importantly- our participants. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to continue to fight for a better tomorrow. ❤️
Giddy up Austin! We’re here to #IGNITEtheCapitol! 🤠
