Thank you!
Ostara, the Germanic goddess of spring & new beginnings. A woman with hair full of flowers and the sun behind her like a halo. Fulfillment. Made with watercolor, colored pencil, and a little digital color added later.

Mixed media traditional art of a glowing woman who looks like lava rising from a volcano with eyes full of rage.
Goddess of the Volcano.
A naiad that looks very much like water, with half her face hidden beneath the water. Swirling eddies form in front of her face, blending with her hair.
Anxiety. Watercolor, colored pencil, and white ink.
Pencil drawing portrait of a wavy haired druid with deer ears and antlers.
Lady of the Ivy. Ink and watercolor art I made in 2017. Same composition as my new drawing.
Since I havenβt been able to draw for a while, Iβm getting warmed up with something familiar. This is my druid character Lady of the Ivy.
Red dragon greedily wrapped around a gigantic pile of golden treasure, with billowing smoke all around
Some greedy bastard.
Ink illustration of an owl classroom. The teacher is a large horned owl, and the students are small barn owls. They sit on books instead of chairs, and the classroom is in a patch of mushrooms. There is a framing element made of vines & leaves. It looks like you just walked into the classroom, and the teacher and some of the students are turning to look at you. Made with black and white ink.
Owl School. This is a T-shirt design I made for Downtown Books & News in Asheville, NC.
Amazing. β¨
A rectangular landscape painting against a white background. Painting features a green and yellow forest with small amounts of blue sky peeking through, and a large glowing spiral emanates from a dark center in the leaves

Titanic meme: "It's been 84 years..." - Rose as an old woman.
1 year to the day since I finished my last painting.
Ok, letβs see if I remember how to paint.
βEvil begins when you begin to treat people as things.β β Terry Pratchett
Itβs really all very tiring.
Yeah, same.
Thinking about the 62 million views, and then thinking about how marital rape was only made illegal in all 50 US states in the summer of 1993.
I can remember 1993. I can remember what was on the radio at the time. I had just been in my first movie. It was not so long ago.

Well said. Itβs like their souls are dead.
Congrats y'all, you get to destroy one of the most beautiful landscapes in MN. Is it worth it.
Blue colored pencil line art, work in progress photo. A woman holds a sword in front of her. Her face is partially covered by a veil, and she wears a flowing cape with armored shoulders.
Watercolor, colored pencil, and white ink illustration. A woman holds a sword in front of her. Her face is partially covered by a veil, and she wears a flowing cape with armored shoulders. She is in a pink and blue sky. She has a sort of halo that looks like ethereal swords, and there are lots of stars.

I've always been very curious & am so confused by people who aren't. Someone once asked me with complete sincerity "why do you care so much about the truth?" like I was the weird one for caring. What do you even say to that.
I guess it does. It's just dumbfounding.
A bed of moss in partial sunlight. Some of the moss is white, but it's mostly a vibrant green.
Three tiny orange mushrooms growing next to each other, each an inch taller than its neighbour.
A tree absolutely covered in moss and lichen.
Maple blossoms in sunlight, backed by a blue sky. They are a bright, stunning golden yellow.

That seems like a good reason to care! If you don't have the truth on your side, what do you really even have?

Disney has always had representation issues, but oddly used to be better than this? At least in classic Disney the girls were allowed to have more different faces & personalities.
It also occurs to me that something people need to start talking about more is that a great deal of modern tech ISNβT convenient. Being bombarded with ads is inconvenient. Paywalls are inconvenient. Forced broken AI is inconvenient. Constant unwanted updates are inconvenient. Being unable to fixβ¦
