Two mushrooms growing out of the ground. Their cap and stem mushrooms are orange and color. They may be becoming lobster mushrooms.

depois de um período de chuvas esses pequeninos aparecem num banco velho de madeira que fica do lado de fora de casa. com o clima seco eles somem, mas sempre reaparecem com as chuvas.

A large conch fungi protrudes shelf like, from the the rough bark of a tree. The top is brownish grey ridges, the lip has a narrow band of orange over yellowish white. The underside is shadowed creamy white.

a pareidolic conk mushroom, mostly white and cream, with a shape resembling a cartoon frog with its eyes shut and smiling in blissful satisfaction
knocked on my ass by a bad cold, but at least a recent hike shortly before that was emotionally restorative, as well as a replenishing of interesting sights to see, including a handful for #FungiFriday

An old, rotting log with polypore (bracket) fungi growing in the crumbly interior. Because the tree fell after the first fungi grew, they are now standing on end, with the pores facing to the left. New fruiting bodies grow in the "proper" position, with the pores facing downwards. Three stacks of these fungi; in the one on the left, the original is clearly exposed; lumpy and cracked. The new ones are smooth and clean. Moss grows on top of the log; beneath, there's grass, dead maple leaves, new leaves.
