The Blue Meanie strain of Psilocybe cubensis was developed in the early 2000’s from an Australian collection. Since “Blue Meanie” is also a colloquial nickname for the species Panaeolus cyanescens, there is often confusion.

Pearly Gates is cross between True Albino Teacher (TAT) and the original homestead PE variety Melmac, originally produced by mycologist Michael Montgomery. Truly, a heavenly gem -Psilocybe cubensis variety!

PES Amazonian var of Psilocybe cubensis. Originally produced by Pacifica Exotica Spora in Hawaii. The strain origins are largely "unknown" as the Amazon is a BIG place. A prime example of this species for microscopy and taxonomy.
