What a disgrace.
If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.
Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.
But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.
They aren’t firing for a reason.
My office will print Know Your Rights handouts free of charge for any NM org helping people better understand their rights in the midst of of this administrations targeting of migrants communities.
It’s working in across the country- let’s stand together.

I’ve worked w/ a lot of older folks who constantly say young professional don’t step up how they should. that’s not my experience. The majority of the Southern NM Bar Assoc. board is younger attorneys who stepped up when there weren’t leaders willing to carry the weight. Cheers to 2025!
