Instant job shifting isn't canon for Kimi. She could still have carried her VPR blades & pulled them out during the SHB/EW RPR era, but it would've been cumbersome, so she didn't. And when she goes back to VPR for DT, she can no longer truly be a RPR since she released the voidsent pact

Kimi would feel driven to get stronger still, Garleans are close at hand, and she wouldn't have wanted to expose the chest scar from Lahabrea until now, with the new chest scars from Zenos
