2027-2030 Budget Engagement The City will share the recommended budget this fall, and Council will debate and decide on the budget in December.

Edmonton's 4-year budget will be decided this year, and we want to make sure that City Council knows transit is important to Edmontonians.

We are sad to see the 101st street bus lane watered down again, with 1/3 of the lanes reduced from 6am-6pm bus lanes to peak-hour bus lanes

With our motions co-written with @michaeljanz.bsky.social passing Committee, city-staff will bring back funding proposals for:

1. Addressing congested spots along our transit network

2. Creating 2 bus rapid transit lines along our busiest routes

3. Redesigning Whyte Ave to prioritize pedestrians

bus lanes are going to budget! transit priority measures = approved, bus rapid transit = approved, whyte ave redesign = approved, 101 street bus lane = watered down

Today, along with many other transit riders, we spoke to Urban Planning Committee to show our support for making buses faster and more reliable.

ArtBus is finally back for Saturday, March 21, 2026! ArtBus is a free event that breaks down barriers in exploring the city’s art! Get an exclusive ride on special ETS buses that will take you to nine art galleries and artist-run centres across downtown Edmonton!

ETS has officially retired paper tickets, but don't let yours go to waste. Until March 31, 2026, you can swap unused paper tickets 1-for-1 for the new tickets.

Edmonton’s BRT has to be in exclusive lanes 75% of the time, but we will have no idea if this actually results in improved reliability and speed because major congestion points could be skipped in favour of prioritizing car traffic
