For students, I have a template email I write saying about my research topics and link to department website. I also note that I don't meet students ahead of the application deadline to be fair to all students as its not feasible to meet all interested applicants.
This is so concerning. I had no idea (and maybe I should have cared more before) about who represents the council and who is allowed to vote!
After listening to the #CPBAO council meeting today, my biggest takeway is we psychologists need to raise public awareness of what we do and how we go about diagnostic assessments!
