I went from having no work to having 4 volumes to letter, one of which also needs design work….and I have an unrelated volume that I need to do design work on as well 😵‍💫 April is busy busy busy!

My current collection of manga design related books~

As someone who wants to work on manga covers/logos for english publishers, I find these books to be very interesting. Admittedly I can’t read Japanese so I do have to rely on translator apps but I feel like I can still learn a lot from them.

I’ve been trying to collect books focused on logo/cover design of manga and just got a new one!

“新しいコミックスのデザイン”

The first part of the book has case studies for 3 titles and then the rest are two page spreads featuring different series with info about their logos and design
