You know how some realtors do that wasteful “promo” of sticking polyester/plastic American flags (with their biz card attached) in lawns around July 4 ? This year, a few days after July 4 when the remaining flags were getting tattered & bound for trash heap, I walked through the neighborhood and collected all of the flags still out on lawns. I saved them for future Anti-Trump protests. The especially sweet part of this is that the neighborhood realtor who did this promotion, is total MAGA. So now the flags that she paid for will be used at Anti-Trump protest! (American Flag and Blue Heart emojis banner, alternating flags and hearts) #NoKings

Yes, we have spent a significant amount of time in NZ since 2020. We were disappointed that you have your own version of MAGA (lite, at least for now), but we believe it is not as bad, largely because you don't have Fox News in NZ. But you do have Facebook!

I'm about to leave the country for 1 month - actually on April 20. The same day that Trump might "Insurrection Act" the US. How worried should I be for my 22 and 24 year old kids while I'm gone (citizens, white-passing) and should I prepare them in any way for what may hit while we're in NZ?
