Fascism: a far-right political ideology characterized by ultranationalism, authoritarianism, and militarism. Key ideas: strong, charismatic leader, suppression of opposition, and the prioritization of the nation over individual rights. Use of propaganda and cult of personality to maintain power

Heard someone call Microsoft’s Copilot “the Internet Explorer of AI” and I nearly spit out my ginger ale on the man sitting in front of me on this flight.

Probably one of the most important TED Talks you could ever watch: youtu.be/TZOoT8AbkNE?...
You never had a problem calling me what I wanted.
You only have a problem when the name change threatens your worldview.
That’s not about them.
That’s about you.
If you’ve never had to fight to be called what you call yourself… maybe it’s time to ask why.
So why does everything suddenly get so complicated when Jessica says her name is Jack?
Because it’s not about the name.
It’s about control.
It’s about judgment.
It’s about your need to shove someone back into a box they’ve already outgrown—just because you can’t handle the truth of who they are.
Not once so far has anyone flat-out refused to call me by the name I chose. Not teachers. Not bosses. Not friends. They might ask, “Can I still call you Will?” And I’ll say, “Sure, it’s still my first name… but I call myself Matt.”
That was it. End of story.
I started going by a shortened version of my first name, William, when I was about my son’s age, so about 11 or 12. Not long ago, after taking healing sabbatical, I went back to my middle name once I healed the part of me that thought it needed to be someone else to make other people comfortable.
WTF?! The new Trump administration is not only turning its back on Europe, it's doing so in favor of partnering more closely with Russia? This could upend decades of alliances and shift global power balances that have existed since 1945. Alarming doesn’t even begin to cover it!
As a generation of Americans we have consistently prioritized short-term gains over long-term responsibility, failing to consider the impact of our economic, environmental, and social policies on future ones. The choices we make today define the world they inherit—it's time we start acting like it.

All he had to do was to clearly say it wasn’t a Nazi salute and to unequivocally reject those celebrating it as such.
This is simple. It’s the bare minimum.
He didn’t. Instead, he told Nazi jokes:
