Definitely some interesting re-writing going on, by people who applauded the appointment very much (Farage, Badenoch, both openly praised it) who now say "everyone" has "always" known that it was a bad idea...

I'm sure it's significant for robotists to be able to make robots run any distance, but whether it's 100m or a whole marathon makes little difference, once they can run at all. For the rest of us (and for marathon runners in particular) it's meaningless

I'm not sure I get the excitment about that robot running a marathon fatser than a any human... First, there are plenty of machines that do things faster than humans. Second, running marathons is not something we need assistance/proxy from any machine to do.
