From field to code: our speakers shared diverse perspectives on ecoacoustics — from fieldwork realities to computational challenges.
We wrapped up with a hands-on programming session turning theory into practice. Exciting days ahead!
Great start to the BioIntAkt Spring School! 🐝🐦🐟
Day 1 kicked off with an inspiring poster session covering passive acoustic monitoring across forests, agroecosystems, aquatic systems, and computational challenges.
Thanks to everyone for the relaxed, inspiring atmosphere and great exchange 💚

🐝🌼 🐝 Viral prevalence in multispecies bee communities is driven by multiple key hosts, not single dominant species. Whole-community network structure is crucial when managing pollinator health.

This week in our #Hymenoptera identification course, students observed live how #Parasitoid wasps of the genus Lysiphlebus parasitize aphids — directly in their own petridish. 🐝👀
For us, this is what university #Teaching is about: Connecting theory, observation, and real-world application 📚🔬🌍
🔔Just a quick reminder!
The open postdoctoral researcher position is still waiting for the right candidate. 🧪
