Old tactics game prototype. Here I tried to capture real medieval battle tactics within turn-based gameplay.
This taught me a ton about what works and doesn't work in turn-based games.

Made this in #godotengine. I'm probably not gonna do anything further than this cause it's more annoying to work with than I thought, but I thought about a FF Tactics x #Pokemon Conquest x PMD thing...

Was a fun experiment though!

a spread of 16x16, 2 color characters from the post-jam version of my 7drl project. various oracles and mystical beings, some people disguised as devils, some skeletons, a grave digger.

if you appreciate my art, design, procedural, or experimental work, or design analysis, please consider supporting me or reposting! i'm /extremely/ good at living frugally but i would like to eat better and get a new computer. i'm aiming to get to $1000 a month.

It maintains aspect ratio so I think it will be fine. Bigger bars allow bigger font size thus steam deck users will probably benefit from the bigger font!

I finally went with the bigger ones but made them a bit smaller to properly showcase a bit more the scene! Thank you so much!

These have been fun and Marathon has given me the fan art itch in a way I haven't had for awhile, gotta figure out what to make next.

I just want all artists to succeed and make cool shit. I want a world where all artists could just make so much art that every story can find its audience and every audience can find its story. I just want to live in a world where we can all bask in the joy of getting to make and participate in art.
