Three of the top five British grid electricity records smashed in 2025!

This is a huge success story, despite what Russian bots and U.S fossil fuel shills scream on X.

Every unit of clean domestic energy we produce means a safer future for our children…🥳

It’s the final part of the Goat Ritual.
I told you about it before.

Next Christmas season, I hope to show and tell you more.
I love how Ukrainian traditions come to life.

it looks like the rain will break midday so i can go for a bike ride. i try not to get wrapped up in resolutions, but i like to Do A Thing on new year's day that sets direction or priorities or some third thoughtful thing. like, let's start this year on a bike ride, see where that takes us.

London is fast becoming a cycling city. As each new piece in the network appears—which has more than quadrupled from 90 to 431 km since 2016—so do new cyclists. Its infrastructure now sees a stunning 1.5 million daily users—a 43% spike since 2019—moving nearly half as many people as the Tube below.🧵

London is becoming a cycling city.

As we continue to expand London’s cycle network, the number of daily bike trips is soaring. Cycling has risen by more than 40% since 2019 to 1,500,000 trips every day.

I hate to fly because there's no solution to planes' global warming and none forthcoming.

But if you have family who live across the sea what do you do?

To see them I fly. I will at least take pictures out of the window. This shows in the distance the power grid near Incheon and Seoul, Korea.

This footbridge crosses a main road in central Taipei. The alternative is zebras at street level, waiting nearly two minutes for the lights. Out of a crowd, only two took the footbridge. I know why they built them (in Richmond too, where I live), but why do we hate them, and why didn't they know?

Due to winds, the ocean covered the sand at Jones Beach, NY. This is the day after, Aug 22 - the winds were still heavy. the ocean is hitting the beach fencing that has been partially covered with sand.

Expanding airports should not be a priority. More people want to see investment in rail. Help us tell the government not to expand airports!

I love France but... a charge of €49 to change your internet provider, apparently applicable to everyone, does not seem compatible with the idea of promoting competition.

There are still 5 hard energy policy constraints that cannot be bypassed.
