Tried to get my real ID. I had my license, my SS card and my birth certificate.

I was not allowed to get my real ID because my birth name is different than my married name. Now I have to go dig up a marriage certificate. You know who wouldn’t have to do this? A man.

Never change your last name.

As I walked my dog this morning - just he and I and the road side wildflowers and weeds, I thought to myself…”I sure would like to be a poet but this having to make money sure is interfering.” β˜€οΈ

The stock portfolios of more than two dozen members of Congress outperformed the market in 2024.

This isn't due to luck or skill.

Lawmakers can use privileged information to trade stocks while they’re supposed to be working for you.

Make no mistake, it’s legalized corruption.

It’s amazing how even just unbending and being with is often so effective. Not even having to go through the whole process.

Telling poor people to be more entrepreneurial is sick

this lens has been wholly transformative for me. And hooray London. I'm pretty sure all my past lives were there as it'
s the ONLY city my body relaxes in. And most of my DNA comes from there.

What is something "no one talks about" in small business and solopreneurship that you wish people were talking about? πŸ’›

At some point, part of reclaiming yourself is learning about the tools you would never use β€” the ones that others may have used against you β€” so you can finally see them clearly for what they are. πŸ”š

You were likely taught β€” directly or indirectly β€” to gaslight yourself. To doubt your own reality. To contort yourself into thinking they must be right and you must be wrong.

Take gaslighting, for example. When someone with power over you (or someone trying to have power over you) gaslights you, you probably weren’t taught to recognize it as manipulation.⬇️

πŸ”₯ Most of us were never trained to recognize the tactics that manipulative or deceitful people β€” or systems β€” use to gain power. Instead, we were trained to internalize their behavior, take it personally, and assume we were the problem.

Wouldn’t it be fun if it took off. I love short form video. And most of my engagement here comes from being on an IFS list. Good to see and hear you.
