The US Supreme Court struck down a lot of the tariff nonsense recently at least. There is still the threat of a flat 10% now and it’s not supposed to apply to art. But who knows, check next Tuesday. It’s a moving target. 🤡

Hello. I have a question for artists/illustrators…I’m searching for a trustworthy delivery company to send original artwork to the US from the UK. I’d like a service that requires a signature on arrival with the recipient & upfront tariff information.
Any info much appreciated.
Cheers.
I love this one too!
Some of us are related to them. It’s so painful.
They will be on sale tomorrow! No better time!
I love Molly Grue. “How dare you come to me now?”

Oh yeah, it was surprisingly rough.
Small study of a Caravaggio painting of the biblical character Judith beheading Holofernes. Holofernes is not pictured, but the gold frame is spattered in red paint.
My spring break painting project is complete after 3 full days of goblin mode painting and another day repairing a broken frame I found on the sidewalk.
“Judith is Getting Pretty Tired of This Shit, Actually.” After Caravaggio. 10x10 acrylic on gesso board.
Blooming snowdrops with pink hellebores blooming in background.
Exciting developments.
Wow. Fetterman landed a blow for a change.
Snow drops pushing up through snow.
Oh thank god.
It’s just so so stunning! ❤️❤️❤️
bruuuuuuuuuuuce. 😭
The problem with the SS was lack of discipline, I hear.
Love this for us
Black and white linocut print of stylized tree branches.
Carving linocuts while I wait for final papers. So satisfying (the carving, not the papers 😂).
Do you think tyrannosaurus had dark meat and white meat
I get that topic a lot also. The GOAT paper. Borrrrrrinnnnnng.
As described, a bumblebee napping on a pink dahlia in a graveyard at dusk, surrounded by autumn leaves.
For today’s fall vibes, I offer this bumblebee napping on a dahlia in a graveyard at dusk. #bloomscrolling
Woman in a xenomorph hat and a child in a Godzilla costume.
As I always say, the best Halloween costume is an elaborate inside joke about declining public transportation infrastructure by way of a 40-year-old science fiction franchise. Particularly in combination with a lizard that critiques nuclear war. Halloween is famously a holiday of ideas.

Oh God, new nightmare unlocked. I shall old place it alongside “toilet snake.”
Rereading Wells’ The Time Machine, and this story about an attenuated race of vegetarians frolicking among once grand institutions, waiting to be hunted by carnivorous trolls, while a guy panics that everyone has gotten stupid and desperately plots to escape his timeline does not hold up at all.
See: every man I’ve ever sat next to on any plane while
flying solo. “You have a PhD in Victorian Literature? DiD yOu KnOw DiCkEnS wAs PaiD By ThE wOrD????”
When you begin a chapter in Dickens and you can tell he’s going to kill an orphan, is that the same pleasure for Victorians as when u are watching the latest Jurassic Park movie and you know the T-Rex will eat somebody? Like it’s the pleasure of the familiar motions of a beloved genre? lol
'The Landing in Summer.' Mary Dawson Elwell emerged on the British art scene as a painter of interiors, or more strictly, 'portrait interiors,' of her Yorkshire home in the 1930s. Her watchwords are stillness, silence, containment, privacy, meditation, illumination.
This is on my McSweeney’s “best of all time” list. Elegant in its simplicity.
