I’m heartbroken for my friends and colleagues at HHS. Yesterday’s events are a cruel reminder of the beating science is taking, with no regard for those who’ve dedicated their lives to improving the health of others. Yet as hopeless as it seems, we need to keep going. Otherwise they win.
