Thinking about how a lot of the world’s problems would be solved by someone going on a self-imposed LADY SNOWBLOOD-style revenge spree

Revisiting an old favorite at @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social before Christopher Nolan does something timey-wimey weird with the source material
TV making me glad I couldn’t find the cassette tape at Graveface last weekend
Watched a whole show in-theater and I still don’t know what happened
Fun fact: Your weapons cannot harm me. My wings are like a shield of steel.
Lately it feels like I have had no control over what goes on in my apartment. I guess it’s no wonder why I’ve had the Swedish chef stuck in my head.
The sky is blue and all the leaves are green!
The sun’s as warm as a baked potato!

If a home video label can give this kind of treatment to a Netflix show like Stranger Things, surely they could do the same for my girl Hilda!
Want to know something I find kinda offensive? Taking a British biopic (that I have not seen) about someone with Tourette’s syndrome and giving it the title I SWEAR.
Anything from @hamishsteele.bsky.social!
Got my final Oscar picks on lock for tonight! In hindsight, I wasn’t able to see all the documentary feature nominees and there were a couple films in particular that I could not bring myself to watch all the way through. But as always, whatever happens...
Got it! Thanks for the hookup!
Like early 90’s Nickelodeon, I made my salutes this weekend. My respective picks are THE GIRL WHO CRIED PEARS, ARMED ONLY WITH A CAMERA, and JANE AUSTEN’S PERIOD DRAMA.
Last night’s member screening at @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social. Fun to watch until it wasn’t (a compliment), this is present-day FURY ROAD for ravers. While my pick for the foreign film Oscar this year is a toss between this, ACCIDENT, and HIND RAJAB, I think it’s a lock for sound.
When watching movies that have been altered for television is part of my job, I somehow don’t mind watching an older example of the practice under the circumstances. Helps that I already have the Blu-ray!
In case anyone asks what my stance is on the matter, I couldn’t even sit through the first SCREAM all the way through.
For a while, I have been catching up on any Oscar nominees that I have missed at a steady pace. While most of what I have seen so far have been scattershot at best, there was one film I saw recently that proved dark enough for me to never forget it.

I just got $200 in online store credit for seeing a certain bunch of movies over the past several months. Capitalism is weird like that, but you gotta take your side hustles wherever you can find them.

I’ve already made plans to live-stream the Oscar nominee announcement on my morning train ride to work tomorrow. Whatever happens, at least I’ll have a watchlist to obsess over again.
That reminds me: I have a spare copy of the UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD soundtrack that would be perfect for the occasion!
Probably as a horrible green-screen effect
Come to think of it, I’ve watched only three or four Lupin specials on YouTube in the past. And I only own less that amount on Blu-ray. Of course, I’d be down for these sets!
Most of the mystery previews I have gone to in the past have been some variation of forgettable at best. However, I guess you can’t forget a movie where a rabies-infested chimpanzee gives everyone a hard time. #AMCScreenUnseen
Revisiting GREENLAND before I catch the sequel this Friday. I I kinda forgot how bleak it is, but my sentimental feelings for it remain the same.
