Londonโ€™s pigeons are acting weird. The grimoire wonโ€™t shut up. And Elias Blackwood? Heโ€™s about to find out dead relatives are the *least* of his problems. #TheBickeringDead โ€“ coming Aug 1st.

Hey!

I'm your neurodivergent writer of satirical fantasy and urban chaos, where the magicโ€™s messy, the ancestors bicker.

1st of 4 short stories drops end of June. Expect mischief, mayhem, and maybe a confused pigeon or two.

If a bit of Cork sneaks into my voice, thatโ€™s my heritage getting comfy.

Totally! Its 80's citch horror/creep. Great fun. Especially as my grandad actually helped on a few of the shows mentioned in the book too.

Muppets, dark crystal to name a few. ๐Ÿ˜ extra personal vibes!

Hi mate,

I'm currently reading The Shadow Glass by Josh Winning. Think; 80's film memorabilia on rampage. Love it so far. Serious Nostalgia vibes.

How about you?

Hello all!! So news this week...
Im still working on my main #WIP. But I've also written a short 7564 word story acting as a prelude to my main prologue... currently in beta reading. Fingers crossed.

Also, ive begun an urban fantasy novel (currently chapter 5) which im equally loving working on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for this advice. That does make a lot of sense... an anthology of works would be good. They would serve as a springboard into my main novel (in progress). Subtle teasers if you will. I'll keep an eye out for any submissions as I move forward. Thanks again. ๐Ÿ˜€

I've got some short stories bubbling... I'm thinking of (if good enough) trying the indy author route for just these ideas as a subtle introduction to my absurd fantasy to see if my humour resonates.

So... stop me now if you think this is a potential disaster.

Thoughts?

Yes, you're quite correct. When I sit here and lean forward, he will often hop up and lay down directly behind me in the hopes I move. ๐Ÿคฃ

I know the pain, haha! I'm sure it's as good as you think... even better for that matter! Here's to great 2nd drafts and even better (or less) edits!

I often find, letting them breathe can help. Hope you make some fresh headway with it.

Ah, fantastic... and great name, too! Clear and yet an air of ambiguity. Best of luck in finishing it. How far are you towards your finish line?

As for me, I'm writing 'Hark', which is my comedy fantasy novel.

Thanks for this. Much appreciated. I'll remember that as I write. ๐Ÿ™‚

In general terms, that's helpful too. I'll try this. I tend to spiral so.if I can slow the 'spin' as it were, it can help.

No problem at all. ๐Ÿ™‚ It's really commendable that you feel confident in your writing. I must take a leaf from your strength! I'm also working through numerous plot holes and foreshadowing hiccups. Such is writing, I suppose!

Best of luck with your endeavours. What are you currently working on?

Thanks for the guide. I shall certainly incorporate this moving forward. ๐Ÿ™‚

Very true! ๐Ÿคฃ

I appreciate the encouragement. I shall keep typing away towards my finish line. I can, but try after all. Lol
