Capt Mark Kelly may be one of the most accomplished veterans in the US today, and calling him a traitor is absolutely bonkers.

After what he and his spouse (you know, Gabrielle Giffords, who was nearly assassinated) went through, and have done for their country, this is bizarre

this is the second time i've actually broken ChatGPT for myself

first time was a memory that was stored weird, polluting the context of all other chats; now, there is a single chat that is so broken that it disabled ALL chats unless 'chatlog history' is turned off

at this rate they should pay ME

GitHub - dsuurlant/takeout-redate: A CLI tool for rewriting your file dates after using Google Photos Takeout A CLI tool for rewriting your file dates after using Google Photos Takeout - dsuurlant/takeout-redate

It took me WEEKS to move my entire Google Drive and Google Photos (+videos) archive to Proton Drive + NAS just so I can cancel Google One and stop giving them money without losing data.

And I needed a tool to help me restore file dates from Photos/Videos, so I made one!

Switched to Opera as a web browser because it's 2025 and neither Chrome nor Firefox have split-screen tabs

What's the most annoying that you can't even get ChatGPT to stop doing it. Like I genuinely try to use it for stuff and I can't just get a normal reply.

It's not just frustrating. It's infuriating.

so one of my neighbors, idk who, has recently gotten a new wifi router that's been completely ruining mine with channel interference. 🤬

Hopefully my manual settings work, but it's seriously ticking me off that this ISP thought "let's grab max signal max width and ruin everything for your neighbors"

I wrote about my experience with AI the past few months, and how GPT-5 brought it full-circle.

The blog post I've been trying to write for months; here it is, finally.

In that case, it's the ghostwriters who do the writing.

I can see the benefit of some use of AI for brainstorming or text analysis, but the actual writing of your creative work... well, it's not creative if you're not the one creating.

call me crazy but i think "great writers" do the actual writing themselves

I really liked the word "vibe" whilst it lasted, but alas, "vibe coding" may be the cringiest name for a new technology I've heard since the Metaverse

De Quervain tenosynovitis - Diagnosis and treatment - Mayo Clinic

If I've been quiet here it's because I'm dealing with double de Quervain's tenosynovitis.

It sucks, and I've barely or not been able to do any of my hobbies, or work.

Idk how to explain at this point, but seeing generated images take over every of our visual cultures makes me immensely sad. I don't think people have an idea of how much of a disaster it is. People have normalized it so easily, too.

For a guy who's obsessed with going to Mars, Elon Musk sure is canceling a lot of STEM funding. How does he think we'll land on Mars if not through science, engineering, and medical advancements? Duct tape and memecoins?

I keep thinking about that Battlestar Galactica quote.

All of this has happened before, all of this will happen again.

The idea that story-driven games aren’t replayable is so strange to me. I eventually bounce off every multiplayer game because I get bored, but I go back to story games again and again just like rewatching a favorite movie, or to experience something new

I hope that the CO who said he admired Elon Musk back in 2018 is feeling pretty embarrassed right about now

(I said I admired Sony, which was made fun of)
