The South Kaibab Trail, Grand Canyon, Arizona

Probably my favourite trail so far. Hikers seeking panoramic views unparalleled on any other trail at Grand Canyon will want to hike down the South Kaibab Trail.

This is the Grand Canyon from the Toroweap viewpoint. The photo was taken about 15 minutes after sunset. Did you know that the river is about 3,000 feet below? The Toroweap campground is just around the corner, and it can accommodate campers who come to admire the view.

Hallstatt is a small Austrian village located in the Salzkammergut region. Since 1997, the village has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The village can also be beautiful in winter due to the colorful houses standing out against the white landscape.
