Coyote in Death Valley National Park. They are well adapted to survive in this harsh desert habitat. They feed primarily on rabbits, birds, and reptiles. We find them in various habitats from the forest to the tundra, desert and mountains.

This is the Grand Canyon from the Toroweap viewpoint. The photo was taken about 15 minutes after sunset. Did you know that the river is about 3,000 feet below? The Toroweap campground is just around the corner, and it can accommodate campers who come to admire the view.
