“Wuthering Heights,” “Vigil” by George Saunders, and “Orphic Paris” by Henri Cole in a neat pile on a bookshelf evidently owned by someone with impeccable taste in books.
Books finished in February, a month in which I also managed to buy no books.
It was my third time through Wuthering Heights, which I just happened to be teaching to 11th grade AP students this month of all months.

An amaryllis sent by Henri Cole
My friend Henri sent me an amaryllis bulb. It has bloomed and now every hummingbird in the neighborhood drops by for a drink.
Henri Cole however I did and do find quite quite good. “Thank you, mother and father, for creating me” is a bar.
