Yes, that's an excellent point, and very interesting, isn't it? Even though these are very different buildings, you can just kind of sense the kinship between them because both of them came from Gehry's creative mind. There is a similarity in these curving/spiraling walls.

Thank you for sharing this. I never knew about this beautiful and unique building in Madrid. I feel it is tragic when one-of-a-kind stunning buildings like that are demolished. They should be preserved as works of art in my opinion, as artistic contributions to society, just like public sculptures.
