Also, it is entirely inappropriate for him to be sending our Guard to a state where that Governor has not only not requested them, but even sued to prevent them from being sent.
Our Governor is playing national politics with the Texas National Guard. We need a Texas legislature that is more concerned with running the state of Texas than with running for President.
As a retired officer of the US Army, I am shocked by the President's suggestion that we would use American cities as a "training grounds" for our military. I swore an oath to the Constitution, not to any person.

It’s hard to choose which threat to our economy is largest, but crippling of our science and innovation pipeline is up there.
Dealing with MAGA is exhausting. There is nothing “conservative” about their views, or even logically consistent. How they took hold of a major political party I struggle to understand.
