An old walking boot nailed to a wooden beam. In the opening of the boot you can see the top of a nest made of moss and leaves with a wren sized hole at the top

Last year wrens built a nest on top of the light in our log store. Unfortunately it was destroyed in a storm and all the babies perished 😢. I nailed one of my old boots next to the light, hoping that they'd use it this year, and a nest has appeared in it over the weekend!
