The shadowbanning of certain posts on X is weird.

Reminder: the sexiness of people who aren't your partner is not your business and certainly not something your opinion matters about at all.
Being offended that people online are not attractive to you is so weird.

Pyra isn't a typical student, her teacher knows that and adapts to it... Outlaw pedagogy can be fluid.
The question isn't purely academic, she feels her new friend is discriminated in The Nation because of his autism diagnosis ('Cogittio 3 neurotype' in the system she uses here).
Goodnight!
May the True, the Good and the Beautiful be with all of you; and may Light, Love and Justice keep you all safe!
@plethonist (Twitter/X post) Scooby-Doo is a devastating commentary on the prejudices of the Moderns. In their single-minded, one might almost say fanatical, desire to unmask all supernatural phenomena as the products of cranks and criminals, the Gang blinds all they encounter, and are indeed blinded themselves, to the supreme supernatural phenomenon which their enterprise—in point of fact, their collective ontology as such—is actually predicated upon: they are in the company of a talking dog.
Fair point
Teaching women to submit to men against their gut instinct is grooming them to stay in an abusive relationship. No amount of caveats will change that.
Asking women to submit in marriage (or anyone to submit in a relationship) in a world full of abuse is just enabling that abuse more.
I wish I'd never EVER had to hear the word 'submit' in the context of relationships again, blegh!

The late-summer feast is a festival with costumes and stuff, and some flirting sometimes. Which is a bad idea for Vorlith here.
(Yes, Zarkiah is Zaiah's ancestor, but their characters are a bit different. Whether Sumrel the blue demon king actuall existed is unclear...)
So the problem with posting visual stuff is a browser problem with firefox...

So it's in browser, not on the phone?

Hmm... Does anyone see a meme or is it just completely black everywhere?

Every picture I upload shows as black...
I guess I try again later...
I would only do equivalent age and experience relationships anyway, especially if it's about a first relationship and not older adulys, and only a virgin bride if the groom is a virgin and they're both unready in the same way.
If we go to a later favourite ll the important Discworld marriages for example are of people around the same age too (Vimes and Sybil, Mort and Ysabel, Margrat and Verence, Moist and Adora) or at least in a similar stage of life...
Earthsea even has less than that, with Ged and Tenar marrying at older age when she's a widow and he's an ex-archmage who lost his powers.
LOTR: Sam and Rosie are in their thirties, Aragorn and Arwen is 88/2000+, Faramir and Eowyn is the closest to the trope with 36/24. Narnia: no marriages I recall except for Aravis/Shasta who are childhood friends of the same age, and Caspian and Ramandu's daughter who's ageless and appears young.
That sort of marriage isn't so common in fantasy that I read anyway, so the idea that it would be the normal thing to do was weird to me. (is a game of thrones influence? twilight weirdness?)
Also, in the first fantasy I read there was zero teenager+adult marriage on the horizon.
I saw a FB post about age & romance in fantasy and 'historically the ages are 16 and up' and then discussion a 16yo girl marrying a much older man. I don't know why you need to follow some mythical 'historical' precedents (that were variable anyway) in a fantasy setting or any other worlbuilding.
Why did they name a US territory after a pop band?

(Trigger warning: Rape)
Rape like this is a rare sin that has no excuses. You can excuse theft, and even murder sometimes in certain circumstances. Not this. Never this. It's pure evil.
It should be universally condemned.
Nothing can redeem something like this, ever.

This is from the princess Hanada story. Note that the harem quarters here contain the men of the empress and don't have that many people in this day and age.
Why she took the boys (prince-candidates) there, as someone who hasn't talked to men much in her life, who'll know...
Listening to Men I trust
We need more music like that in this era.
