I honestly think out of all the new series in Jump, that Gonron egg has the most potential to survive an early cancellation window.

Genuinely curious as to if this series has actually taken Samura out, or if a later chapter will reveal his ability was still in play. Also, i get the feeling that Kagurabachi is going to maintain a current trend of keeping these shonen action series at a shorter length than in past decades.

I plan to review some of my favourite series soon enough. Akane-Banashi will have me struggling to find anything negative to say though, especially this volume.

Volume 20 just dropped on my doorstep. V. Excited!!

I feel like a lot of people overlooked how brilliant this moment in akane banashi is. Akane is both leaving her friends and the panels themselves. This is the kind of stuff i love in sequential art.

Harald ripping his own horns off in grief is an image that is going to stick with me for a long time. Also, with how flashback heavy one piece is, I'd love to one day see a flashback free edit so we only see what the strawhats see.

One thing i love about Yuto Suzuki, is they know just when to loosen up their line work. Osaragi is probably one of my fave characters to see in action too... CHAINSAW ON A ROPE!!!

JJK Modulo gets a lot right in its twelfth chapter. While the build up hasn't always been smooth sailing, it feels like it'll still be worth the wait. This series at least gives us the impression that it has a clear vision compared to its source material.

While elusive samurai brings in many a fantastical element, it has sparked my interest in one day really doing a deep dive on japanese history.

Someone Hertz has a really pleasant and wholesome vibe to it. That said i can't help but make the assumption that it is destined for cancellation, as it's competing in an area of the magazine that is less of a niche than it used to be.

I was insane for thinking it'd be so easy to present him with the truth. Kurumizawa's Folly is a truly gripping thriller. Kensaku admires his idol so much that he's blind to the truth.

This is currently, Ichi the Witch's most valuable plot point for the way the end game will play out. Ultimately informing us that without the fortune teller on side, fate is fixed, and even with their help, it's difficult to alter.

I have a lot of respect for Blue Box, just being able to teach teens growing up there's no need to degrade yourself. The way this series talks about love and life in general is wholesome to the core.

Gonron's design when powered up is facscinating to me, the way his neck sits within the jaws of a drakarch, just a really cool idea.

This week's chapter of Otr of the Flame has me still holding on to the hope that it can keep going and reach its intended conclusion.

Witch watch is finally getting serious again!! Makes me wonder if this is the start of the final arc.

While i don't know if it's enough to avoid an axe, i think Harukaze Mound has done a great job establishing each team member in such a short amount of time. I really do love a good underdog story!

I think that Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has a pretty ambitious story to tell, the majority of its pages are focused on a political back and forth, yet it's these moments where people get to live their lives that i find the most interesting.

Boy oh boy, bluetooth is everywhere these days!

Rebelling against conformity (check) a friend in cthulu (check) a heartfelt story within the absurd (check) Good Morning, Great Old One is a very short but fun one shot.

It's a miracle it hasn't overthrown itself.

I think Shiba Inu Rooms has the potential to find an even bigger audience if it can gain anime status. It's one of those series that is likely getting missed by exactly the people that would love it.

At first i thought this was a translation error, but even the japanese One Punch Man uses both handsome kamen and amai mask. I've just never noticed before now.

I'm interested to see if some of the life hacks in Bug Ego have been tried by real people... I'd say not, but then again, there have been worse viral challenges that people have recorded themselves doing!
