The EEA 2025 Congress in Bordeaux was so good—probably the best conference food (and wine) ever.

Academia can be tough — competitive, isolating — but this field has some of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve met.

Beneath the trees: the influence of natural capital on shadow price dynamics in a macroeconomic model with uncertainty - Grantham Research Institute on climate change and the environment This study highlights the importance of considering natural capital and the role of uncertainty in macroeconomic models.

The rapid degradation of Earth’s ecosystems has significant implications for economic production. To assess those implications, in this new paper the authors build a macroeconomic model that includes natural capital and ecosystem dynamics and is subjected to uncertainty.
